The first episode of Brendan Landis’ Super Awesome Radio Show Wins Again, Awesome will be airing Friday (today) from 4-6pm EST. Today’s theme is early and mid-90’s rock and roll. Remember when listening to the radio didn’t inspire physical pain? How about when Weezer was called “alternative”? Remember when MTV used to play rock videos, and a few of them were about having fun? Boy howdy, I sure do.
So: Bust out your flannel shirts and ripped-up jeans (not the $300 pair that was already ripped when you bought it) and join me as I celebrate a time when pop music was in a much healthier state. Quickly now, before it becomes fashionable again and gets eaten up.
