BLSARSWAA #4 - Evil Music
Friday the 13th - too oddball to become a holiday, yet too awesome to fade into obscurity. Here are some fun facts about this special day:
- It occurs one to three times per year.
- While there are many popular stories about the origin of the superstition surrounding Friday the 13th, no single story is considered the true origin.
- The day is considered bad luck not only in English-speaking cultures, but also German, Polish, and Portugese-speaking cultures.
In celebration of this bastard son of superstition, Brendan Landis’ Super Awesome Radio Show Wins Again, Awesome will be playing the most evil music I can find. This will include music that plays off of the stereotype of Christian moral objectionability, as well as music about some of the more genuinely negative forces in the world.
So, don’t be a paraskavedekatriaphobic - give in to temptation, shave that sacrificial goat (or whatever it is you do to prepare those things), and tune in to BLSARSWAA this Friday from 4pm to 6pm for a nice, healthy dose of eeevil. You wouldn’t want to disappoint our lord and master, you-know-who, would you?
