In an interview with the BIRN, songwriter Rachael Yamagata reveals the key ingredients of her success. Amid a sampling of her latest album, "Elephants...Teeth Sinking Into Hearts," we learn her unique production strategy which made the album "feel like a whisper." We also get an in depth look into some of the musical influences like Stevie Nicks and David Bowie who have influenced her writing.
