So to end this semester on a positive note despite all of finals, and last minute shopping, sit back, relax and listen to Holiday Carols sung by your Favorite stars, I will be playing songs from the Broadway Cares Album “Home for the Holidays” released in 2001, as well as talk about news about what’s currently happening on Broadway, last minute holiday gifts, and new ideas for “Backstage with Liz” 2008!!
So as we get closer to the end of the semester, I thought this would be a great week to play one of my Favorite shows written by my absolute favorite Musical Theater writer: Jesus Christ Superstar by the great Andrew Lloyd Webber, I will also be playing Joseph and the Amazing technicolor dreamcoat as well, and don’t be upset folks, beecause next semester I will be playing many more shows from Andrew Lloyd Webber such as Phantom of the Opera, Cats and Evita! So tune in Tuesday 2-4 for Musical Theater, the best of Andrew Lloyd Webber

Stay tuned for a special show dedicated to Traditional Musical Theater from 1940 to the early 1960’s, I’ll be playing musicals such as The Sound of Music, Pal Joey, Brigadoon, Gypsy, Annie Get your Gun, The Pajama Game etc. Also, special tribute to four leading ladies of the stage and screen and their incredible lives: Angela Lansbury, Judy Garland, Ethel Merman, and Julie Andrews.
