There is guaranteed to be fiddle music. That’s about as much as can be said about this show.

Thought you could get rid of us that easily? Just because school is over with doesn’t mean we are. That’s right: FIDDLE FEILE is here for the longterm. Today is nothing by Irish goodness with the occasional Scottish reel or so to spice things up. And Yes: there will be diddling.

So when I woke up this morning-I was inspired: I want to sing today. Unfortunatley, I can’t. So, instead of torturing you with the lack of vocal abilities, I will intice you with great recordings of celtic diddling and gaelic whatnot. Sit back and relax as I mesmerize you with a great mixture of old and new gaelic singing with the fiddle not far behind. Slainte!

Oh my god, it’s a fiddle extravaganza on Fiddle Feile from 2-4pm. Tune in, hear a tune and attune yourself to zee wonderful sounds of zee fiddle.
What more could you want than the very best music from my personal collection of tradition celtic music on a Sunday afternoon? Nothing? Exactly.

P.S. that’s not me. I promise.
In celebration of Phil’s birthday, we are having an All-Cape Breton fiddle extravaganza. Tune in from 2-4pm today and hear some great live music and grand silliness.

Is it just me or is spring in the air? Celebrate clear skies and warm weather with an array of the VERY best Celtic music from around the world and in our very own backyard.

Today we have a special guest mandolinist on the show. For the first hour it’s nothing but Charlie and his playlist. We know mandolin doesn’t count as a fiddle, but in this case we’re willing to make an exception. Also on the latter half of the show we will also have special guest Frederick Einstein, twin brother of the famous physicist. He will be here to give his dissertation on relativity and the effects of playing fiddle music backwards on the space time continuum.

Fiddle Feile is here to make all your stereotypical assumptions about Irish music a reality! From 2-4pm we will be celebrating St Patty’s weekend with jigs, reels, historical inaccuracies and musical silliness with our fiddles in hand. Will there be live music? You bet. So grab a pint and tune in!
