it’s old skool skores today on The Final Score, with the music of Max Steiner and Carl Stalling, two of the most influential composers of the twentieth century.

FINALS ARE OVER! but the Final Score is not. In tribute to Berklee Alum Howard Shore receiving his honorary doctorate this Saturday, I will be playing all Howard Shore scores, including The Departed, The Aviator, Naked Lunch and of course, LOTR. And don’t forget to check out the commencement concert tonight at the Agganis Arena with some of your favorite BIRN DJs MC-ing the ruckus (including yours truly). So this is the last time I’ll say this (for this semester): TUNE IN!!

well once again it’s the final score and i ain’t talking bout no finals (though there’s alot of them about). Relax before finals with Oingo Boingo and some siiiick film scores this friday. Aaaaannnndddd we’ve got Richad Gibbs (keyboardist for Oingo Boingo, composer for The Simpsons, Queen of the Damned, SAy Anything) in the studio!!!! So tune in!!!

Well we’re finally finishing up the Lord of the Rings Trilogy with LOTR Part III. Then it’s on to The Nightmare Before Christmas. Why? Because I’ve had those songs stuck in my head all week and now you will too :-P
