The main project from Dutch mastermind Arjen Lucassen released his latest album, 01011001, earlier this year and provides a good backdrop for epic summers! Or at least for mine. Prepare for Prog!

Now that school is over, my longing for roadtrips begins.  And there is one musical maestro who gives me exactly what I crave while driving on long stretches of highway.

Synchestra, the last album that he created with his band, provides enough zany anthems and massive sounds to keep me driving for hours.  I could have picked any of his other solo works or Strapping Young Lad albums to play and I would still be satisfied.  So why pick this one??  CAUSE I COULD!  Dig it!

More and more each day, spring seeps into the weather and pushes the cold out to make way for summer. Which means soon, everyone needs to go to the beach or pool and relax. Which also means there has to be a great record to prepare for this kind of metamorphosis.
