Chad Blinman is a recording engineer, music producer and electronic musician from Los Angeles. He is an Assistant Professor of Music Production and Engineering at Berklee, and Faculty Advisor/General Manager of the BIRN. Chad grew up in the seventies and eighties with a taste for odd, dark music and adventurous record production, a dry sense of humor, and a deep love for technology and science fiction. He owns a Kenton-modified Roland CR-78 and a Hammond F-100 Extravoice. He is kind of a geek.
The BIRN Dummy can hardly be blamed for the lack of value he brings to his show. Unable to retain or process information of any kind, he is little more than an inert assembly of mechanical parts intended for use in automotive and industrial safety testing. His resemblance to the human form is an asset to his function in that application but should not be mistaken for an indication of any other human characteristics. He doesn't talk much.
