This evening, you and I will lollygag down the path of American history (at least, in the modern century) with some of our favorite American composers.

We start at 9pm SHARP! with Aaron Copland’s splendid “Hoe-Down” and commence from there through some quinessential American composers of both the neo-classical, modern, avant garde, jazz, contemporary and extremely bizarre eras of composition that all stem from sea to shining sea.
