With her fourth album, Love Come Down, Hopkins has achieved an elegance of sound that lives up to her poetic powers. Called “a standout writer” by The Washington Post, Hopkins has created, in just six tunes, a journey of songs that begins with a gentle invocation, ends with a lullaby, and includes a few dark American landscapes in between.
Hopkins first gained a broader music recognition when Peter, Paul, & Mary recorded her song Jesus Is On The Wire in 2004 and again in 2010. Hopkins has appeared at multiple festivals around the globe including Greenbelt Festival, the Moseley Folk Festival, the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival, and many more.
